Game Description
You and your best friend move to the city of Credon, home to some of the best schools and universities in the country, to continue your studies. However, in Credon everyone is talking about only one thing: ETERNUM – a virtual hyperreal MMORPG released several years ago that revolutionized the world of technology.
With a neural implant that recreates the five senses, it becomes impossible to tell the game from the real world. Thousands of servers form the Eternum network: from colorful, magic-filled fantasy worlds to hazy sci-fi cities, no world is out of reach.
However, looking beyond the surface, there is a darker side to this beautiful façade: black markets, torture, rape, illegal content trading, illegal gatherings, data theft… Eternum follows nobody’s rules. For some reason, governments turn a blind eye to this; there is no regulation and control.
Some say it’s because the game is highly addictive, some say it’s because the market moves millions of dollars every day, some say the powers that be were bribed, and who -to says something else is going on.
